Day 2: Srinagar to Aru Valley (2,400 meters)

  • It’s a scenic drive through beautiful landscapes.
  • Set up camp in Aru Valley and acclimatize to the altitude.

 

Day 3: Aru Valley to Lidderwat (3,050 meters)

  • Begin the trek from Aru Valley and follow the Lidder River.
  • Pass through pine forests and cross several streams.
  • Reach Lidderwat and set up camp for the night.

 

Day 4: Lidderwat to Shekwas (3,500 meters)

  • Trek through lush green meadows and enjoy the breathtaking views.
  • The trail gradually ascends, and you’ll pass through Gujjar settlements.
  • Set up camp at Shekwas and spend the night.

 

Day 5: Shekwas to Tarsar Lake (3,850 meters)

  • The trail becomes steeper and rocky as you ascend towards the lake.

Day 6: Tarsar Lake to Sundarsar Lake (4,200 meters)

  • The trail takes you through high mountain passes and offers stunning views.
  • Set up camp near Sundarsar Lake for an overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Sundarsar Lake to Marsar Lake (3,900 meters)

  • Trek from Sundarsar Lake to Marsar Lake, another beautiful alpine lake.

  • Enjoy the tranquility of Marsar Lake and camp nearby.

 

Day 8: Marsar Lake to Homwas (3,650 meters)

Day 9: Homwas to Aru Valley and back to Srinagar
