Day 1: Sonamarg to Nichnai via Shekdur –

The trek begins with a gradual ascent from Sonamarg, passing through lush green meadows and forests. You’ll reach Nichnai, which is around 11 kilometers (7 miles) from Sonamarg.

Day 2: Nichnai to Vishansar Lake –

The trail continues through beautiful meadows and streams, leading to the mesmerizing Vishansar Lake. This day covers a distance of approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles).

Day 3: Vishansar Lake to Gadsar Lake –

The trek takes you to the serene Gadsar Lake, passing through rocky terrains and high mountain passes. The distance covered on this day is around 16 kilometers (10 miles).

Day 4: Gadsar Lake to Satsar Lakes –

The trail meanders through scenic landscapes and multiple lakes known as the Satsar Lakes. The trek covers a distance of approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles).

Day 5: Satsar Lakes to Gangabal Twin Lakes –

The route leads to the enchanting Gangabal Twin Lakes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. This day covers a distance of around 12 kilometers (7.5 miles).

Day 6: Gangabal Twin Lakes to Naranag –

The final leg of the trek takes you to the village of Naranag. The trail descends through forests and meadows, covering a distance of approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles).

Day 7: Naranag to Srinagar –

After breakfast in Naranag, you’ll drive back to Srinagar, marking the end of the trek.
